This inventory helps you find sales associates and customer service representatives with characteristics that are related to driving sales through improved customer service. While we recognize that there are many paths to spur sales, the NGauge© profile emphasizes that sales associates and customer service representatives are a key component of customer loyalty and retention.
The NGauge© Success Profile consists of 100 items, with four options for endorsing or not endorsing each item (Strongly Disagree, Disagree, Agree, or Strongly Agree). Answers to these items are shown in four primary scales that organizations can use to create the best team. These are Energy, Sales Drive and Customer Service, Dependability, and Self Management. The scoring also provides two "administrative flag" scales that can be used to monitor a candidate's tendency to artificially inflate or exaggerate his/her scores. The primary scales are combined to yield an overall result that can be used to screen candidates for further consideration in the application process.
This profile has been shown to successfully predict associates who are seen as stronger performers and who have a stronger sales record. For example, one large client in multi-unit fashion retail used this profile to increase sales by 27%. We also found no adverse impact with minorities in the validation sample. In addition, you can choose the scoring protocol that best suits your organization. You may choose to score it onsite immediately or to send it to us for scoring.
